To all of our lovely pupils at OVPA
I am sorry that this Monday is looking very different from what you usually know. It is very different at school, not seeing your smiley faces and hearing about your weekend news. School is very quiet and not the same without you here.
At the moment, we need you to stay at home where you are most safe. It helps to stop germs spreading by having less contact with other people. We know this is hard and it may feel lonely at times. Your teachers will be ringing you each week for a chat to see how you are. Ask your parents to help you send messages to your teacher by phone or email too. We would love to see how you’re doing whilst you are not in school and answer any questions you may have.
We have given you some learning activities to do at home. If you find them tricky, please do not worry. You can be creative and imaginative with your learning in lots of different ways. Enjoy opportunities to build, cook, create, investigate and explore. Remember to get some fresh air and keep active.
Don’t forget how special you are and that you will not be forgotten by us whilst you are away from school. We will remember all the amazing things you have done so far and wonder if you’re creating more proud moments for us to share when we see you again.
I will still keep the Log Book open whilst you are away, so please send me photos or explanations of anything amazing that you do! I would love to keep adding lots of names, so I can post some certificates back to you.
We will be thinking of you every day until we can open the school again. Until then, please look after yourselves and remember to Be Safe, Be Kind and Be Your Best!
From Mrs Campbell and all the Staff at OVPA
