Thank you

It’s been proper scorchio over the final two days of this academic year and what a year it has been. In fact what an amazing two years…………

New carpet throughout the school, a new library, an art area, a music area, an increase in the number on roll, Funky Friday assemblies, singing, whole school treats, Oscars, bedtime stories, a weekly Saturday blog, coloured windows, sports success, music success, art success, a fantastic curriculum, improved SATs results, videos on the website and of course being judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted for the first time in the school’s history. Still to come –new front gates, a new CCTV system, playground markings, new toilets and further roof works.

Please find a moment over the summer to remember that you are part of a great school. Not a good one……..a GREAT one.

Thank you to the many parents and grandparents who attended our Thrillng Terrific Tremendous Tuesday Final Assembly.  That was the biggest turn out we have had. Thank you. Congratulations to Olivia, Lacey, Amelia, Brunas and Andrew on receiving Oscars. The photos were taken live during the assembly. You may keep the Oscars.

Congratulations also to Ben, Brooke, Michael, Lacy, Taylor, Isaac, Abbie, Elizabeth, Kayden, Hoshyar, Roya, Orestas, Makenzie, Melissa, Ruby, Briony, Andrew and Daisyrae who achieved 100% attendance for the year and received a voucher each as a reward.

Finally we would like to say a massive thank you for the support you have shown us since we joined in September 2017. It’s been an incredible journey and we are so proud of what has been achieved.  The impact can be seen very clearly when you walk around the school and the children share their love for learning.

Have a fantastic summer break everyone and remember the words of Paul Weller: “It’s always inside you as old as the sun. It’s holding the answers as new as the young. And as long as the wind blows, the tides flow along”

Thank you for believing.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQD3LJhwDt0
