Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you and your families remain safe and well.
We have finalised our plan for the reopening of our school and this may change at short notice, due to updated government advice. However, I felt it was important to share with you what we intend to do.
Arrangements for reopening of school.
Following advice from the government, we are planning to partially reopen, for Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 starting on Monday 8 June 2020
In order to ensure the safety of your child and ensure social distancing is maintained, we have decided to have a phased reopening. This means that we have divided our Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 class into 2 groups – a group A and a group B. Your child will be allocated a place in either group A or group B and a 2-week cycle will operate as follows, with group A starting on Monday 8 June 2020.
The arrangements for vulnerable pupils and the children of Key Workers, are that they will continue to attend school as currently planned, from Monday to Friday each week. This group of children will form Group C.
A letter with further details of our arrangements has been sent to all parents, via ParentMail, and a copy has been posted on Class Dojo. Please let us know if you have not received this letter.
It’s taken a huge amount of planning and decision-making but we truly believe that this model is the best for our children, staff and families. The priority has been health & safety and well-being. I’m sure you will have lots of questions and I will do my best to answer them with the knowledge I currently have.
We look forward to welcoming back those pupils that are able to join us.
