The Beatles sang ‘Come Together’ on their superb Abbey Road album, the United Nations work together to confront common challenges, Barcelona have shown the world that you can play football together no matter what language you speak and our Year 6 pupils have worked together as a team all year.
They not only support each other in their learning but there is a great sense of care and friendship. They have come a long way in a very short time. They have worked incredibly hard on developing their reciprocal reading skills, maths mastery and use of quality language in their writing. They are a remarkable group of people.
Next week they sit their national curriculum SATs papers. We know that they are well-prepared, but more importantly we know they have the right attitude and will do their best. If one of them is feeling anxious, we know that others will reassure them. If one of them feels they didn’t do so well, others will remind them of the fantastic year they have had.
Good luck for next week. We are very proud of you. See you all for breakfast each day at 8.20am.
Thank you to all the parents who came together for our weekly Funky Friday Assembly. Congratulations to PJ, Blake and Lucy on receiving Oscars.
Have a great rest of the weekend.
