We hope you are well and safe. Thank you for contacting us when you’ve needed support or advice, so that we can help in any way we can.
The Government voucher scheme has been very tricky to get going, with the system being overloaded with so many trying to access it. We are doing all we can but it is a little out of our control. With any particular issues regarding vouchers, please email: [email protected]
We have been supporting our families that are struggling to get to the shops, with food hampers. Please let us know if you need any help. Also, we are able to drop some books and toys for families that may need some extra supplies for the children. If you would like some support, please email Fran Simpson, our Attendance Keyworker, with your details and she will be very happy to make some deliveries: [email protected]
Home learning is posted weekly on our website but we are really working hard to engage all our parents and children on our Class Dojo platform. The secure site is only accessed by members of OVPA, with our permission, so it cannot be viewed by the wider public. Class teachers and support staff are liaising regularly on Dojo, sending video messages, reading books for the children to listen to and setting learning tasks. There is a 1-1 messaging facility so that parents and children can talk to their teacher and submit work for feedback. If you have not signed up to Class Dojo, please contact your class teachers or Mrs Higginson: [email protected] as you’re missing out. Visit the App Store to download the app or access using the website.
Mrs Gray, our new Designated Safeguarding Lead, has been contacting lots of families, alongside class teachers, to check everything is ok at home. If you are struggling personally, please do not be afraid to contact her and share your worries. She is there to listen and help. Mrs Gray’s email is: [email protected]
Please don’t struggle alone. We are here to help. Lean on me……when you’re not strong, I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on. [email protected]
We are only a call or an email away.
