Earth Hour Day

In today’s digital society how would we cope without our computers, our phones, the television or gaming consoles? How would we cope without electricity? Well today is Earth Hour Day (8.30pm – 9.30pm). It is the largest environmental event in history and reminds us that switching off can be a good thing. Could you switch off for an hour? Go on……try it.

This is the official Earth Hour Day website http://www.earthhour.org/

Thank you to the many parents and grandparents who joined us for our Funky Friday Assembly. You are all welcome to come again next week for our Thrilling Thursday End of Term Assembly. Congratulations to Esther, Jessica and Taylor on receiving Oscars

Also congratulations to the ten Year 6 pupils who were selected for a reward this week. It would seem you had a fantastic time with Joe the Chef and Miss Sheldrake’s mum.

And finally a big well done to Keira (and her grandad) and King Eddie (and his mum) for producing two brilliant pieces of homework this week.

Have a great weekend and remember Friday 5th April is an INSET DAY.

It wouldn’t be the Saturday blog without a link to a song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y43XLVqjytQ
