86,400 seconds

There are 86,400 seconds in a day and this week we made sure each day was was time well spent. We had a graffiti artist in school working with our Year 5 and 6 pupils, the school football team played in a tournament and received some lovely comments about their positive attitude and manners, ten Year 6 pupils were selected to go to High Woods for a Forest School session and the whole school looked fabulous in their red items for Red Nose Day. Thank you to those who contributed £1 to the Comic Relief charity. We have raised £160 so far. Time well spent.

Thank you to the many parents and grandparents who joined us for our Funky Friday assembly and sang along to our current musical offering ‘Let ‘Em In’ by Paul McCartney and Wings. Congratulations to Maria, Hoshyar and Alice on receiving Oscars. The assembly lasted 1,800 and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Time well spent.

Have a lovely weekend. Enjoy every second of it.
